Seasons Greetings
How quickly this year has passed and here we are again wishing everyone Happy and Safe Holiday Season. Some great things have happened this year. Riverfest which raises funds and awareness for the need for clean water worldwide was a huge success. Another was having Don's daughter Jennifer singing with us at St Barts Summer Festival. She is so talented and promises to make all of us proud as she enter high school and the performing arts!! Steve's health continues to improve. Jim, with the help of Don and Steve, and a collection of Louisville musicians, is releasing a CD of original songs that he co-wrote with Butch Richardson. Please look for it here at the Muench Website, Amazon, iTunes, and CD Baby. The CD is called "For A Song" by Jim Muench and Butch Richardson.
Looking to the New Year we hope to release a CD of singles and a few that were not released from our touring days. We will continue to do shows and we hope to see you at one of them. So please keep an eye on muenchband.com.
Again, everyone have Safe and Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and an even better New Year!!
All of our very best,
Muenchh

December 21, 2010 Xmas message
First of all we want to send out a heart felt "thank you" to all who have supported us over this challanging year. You certainly made it much easier. Steve has been back playing with the band for a while now and is out living on his own. Another mile stone. Anyone wishing to contact Steve, his e-mail is smuench783@aol.com. There were good things that happened this year as well. Thanks to Melissa Tewers for reconnecting us with the Osmonds in April. Also thanks to Mark Beyer who helped us produce the CD version of our 1977 Republic Records album which is now available in the merchandising section of the website. And also thanks to musicians Greg Hensley, Mike West and Bob Tribble for sitting in with us. Many memorable gigs. In closing we want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Holiday Season and look forward to a wonderful New Year with more music and maybe some suprise performances. Our love to all.

February 8, 2010 Steve Muench
Following up with the previous post, Steve underwent triple bypass surgery on Jan 13th. Although the surgery was a success he had a problem coming off the ventilator. He was on it for almost three weeks before it was decided to do a tracheotomy. Since this was done he has made great progress and is now breathing on his own, talking, and up walking. It has been a rough time for Steve and we know that he has been in everyone's prayers and we are so thankful for that. We feel that Steve has turned the corner and are looking forward to having Steve back playing with us soon. Thanks to everyone for the cards and letters and especially for the continued prayers.
All the best in this New Year,
Jim, Don, Steve, and Paul
December 7, 2009 Stve Muench
As some of you know and many of you may not know, Steve has had a heart attack and will need surgery to correct a large amount of arterial blockage. At this point he is not up to the surgery due to not having enough blood oxygen content. He has been released from the hospital and is staying with our sister Lola awaiting surgery slated for after the first of the year. By that time he should be physically able to undergo the operation.
Thanks to all who have giving their support and prayers. If anyone wishes they can send cards to Steve Muench, c/o Lola Morrison, 7601 Barbour Place Dr, Louisville, Ky 40241.
Filling in for Steve will be Mike West, one of the areas most talented and respected musicians, until he is able to rejoin the group. A special thanks to Mike.
Again, thanks to all and we'll give updates as we have them.
Have safe and blessed holiday season,
Jim and Don Muench and Paul Barth

Earlier this month Larney and Phyllis Staton brought us to LA to play for their daughter Allison's wedding. It was an amazing time and we
were able to see and play for friends we hadn't seen in many years.
Thanks so much to Larney, Phyllis, and Allison, for making this happen. And to Allison, congratulations to you and Mike on your wedding and wishing you many many years of happiness.
All my best,
Jim Muench
